
Primary amyloid myelopathy is a rare neurological disorder characterized by the accumulation of amyloid proteins in the spinal cord. This deteriorating condition typically manifests with progressive paresthesia in the limbs, often accompanied by spasticity. In this case report, we present an individual with primary amyloid myelopathy who presented with an unusual clinical presentation.
The individual's initial symptoms included impaired grip strength, along accompanied by bladder dysfunction. A lumbar puncture revealed elevated protein levels indicative of amyloid deposits. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrated characteristic lesions in the spinal cord consistent with primary amyloid myelopathy.
The treatment plan included supportive care, including physical therapy and medications to manage symptoms. Nevertheless treatment, the patient's condition deteriorated significantly. This case highlights the importance of considering primary amyloid myelopathy in the differential diagnosis of patients presenting with progressive neurological symptoms, particularly those with asymmetric limb involvement.
An Uncommon Presentation of Crohn's Disease: A Case Report
We describe a unusual case of Crohn's disease in a 35-year-old male presenting with atypical symptoms. The patient initially presented signs of abdominal pain, which were mistaken for a common gastrointestinaldisorder. Further investigation revealed colitis. The patient received conventional treatment for Crohn's disease, including steroids. The prognosis to treatment was positive.

Findings
A male/female patient presented to the clinic with a chief complaint/history of symptoms/presenting concern of progressive shortness of breath, cough/dyspnea/respiratory distress. The patient reported a gradual/sudden/insidious onset of symptoms/complaints/manifestations, worsening over the past few months/year/decade. On physical examination, auscultation/palpation/inspection revealed decreased breath sounds in the lower/upper/bilateral lung fields.
Further/Additional/Supplementary investigations included a chest X-ray which demonstrated diffuse/patchy/interstitial opacities consistent with pulmonary fibrosis. A high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) scan of the chest confirmed the diagnosis, revealing honeycombing/fibrotic bands/reticular opacities.
The patient underwent further tests/evaluation/assessments to rule out other potential causes/contributing factors/underlying conditions of pulmonary fibrosis.
